Designer. Programmer. Filmmaker.

My passion is making digital experiences intuitive and visually on brand. Having experience in both the programming and the design worlds, I understand the drive to create new experiences and the work required to implement them. I like to write JavaScript and build interfaces in Sketch/Illustrator. I am continuing to refine my programming skills and design abilities.

Outside of work, I like to curate vaporwave/lofi art, play video games and mess around with old cameras.

UI/UX Developer

May 2019 - Feb 2020

At Carhartt, I was hired to lead the creation of a new web property called Carhartt Company Gear. This was Carhartt’s first B2B clothing website that offered embroidery on their popular garments. I created all of the frontend content for the site’s launch. I also submitted design revisions to pages that were accepted by marketing and implemented onto the site. This role was an intrapreneurship position. I thrive in dynamic environments where many skill sets are needed to complete the project.

In addition, it applied and utilized my understanding of HTML5, CSS and JS.

Gallerique

E-commerce Art Website

Technical Lead

October 2014 - September 2017

While in school, I was hired to produce videos to help promote the startup’s MVP. After a few successful video projects, I was tasked with creating mockups for the World Art Dubai art show. Developing these concepts gave me a chance to practice web design and coding. The page was well-received and featured all artists participating in the show. I was quickly transitioned to be in charge of onboarding new artists. Using Magento (CMS), I created new pages on the site and added new products in bulk. After doing this for some time, I built rapport with our clients and was tasked with leading a team of two to handle all website updates plus technology changes.
